Our rules
- No paid rankings. No provider can pay to rank higher, appear first, or be featured. Rankings come only from the weighted scoring formula.
- No first-person testing claims. Scores are editorial, drawn from published benchmarks and provider documentation. We never claim to have run our own lab tests.
- Sources are visible. Every category score links to the evidence behind it.
- Weights are version-locked. The scoring formula cannot change without a version increment recorded below.
- No dark patterns. No fake urgency, no countdown timers, no invented "X people chose this" social proof, no email walls.
- Real costs, shown plainly. The token cost calculator surfaces the agentic multiplier most vendors leave out.
Affiliate policy
Current status: no affiliate income. Every outbound link goes to the official provider page. We earn nothing from your clicks today. The architecture is ready to support affiliate links when programs are approved — but trust comes first.
If affiliate links are ever activated, this is what would change:
- Outbound links for partnered providers would carry a
sponsoredrel attribute. - A disclosure would appear on this page and in the footer naming which providers we have a commercial relationship with.
This is what would not change:
- The scoring formula and weights — commercial relationships never influence scores.
- Rankings — a partnered provider does not move up.
- Coverage of non-partnered providers — models without an affiliate program are scored identically.
